Here’s a combo post of what’s been going on since my last post.
I’ve been changing the look of the blog as you can see.

My wife thinks I’m nuts, go figure. She thinks I’m nuts because I read so many books at one time. Right now I’m reading the following:
Velocity by Dean Koontz
Rogue Angel – The Spider Stone by Alex Archer (will have review on this blog soon)
Jaws by Peter Benchley
More than a Hobby by Hobby Lobby guru David Green
And sure enough a writing instructional book - Plot and Structure by James Scott Bell
Just bought one last night by Patricia Cornwell Portrait of a Killer – Jack the Ripper, Case Closed
All this and trying to get a short story written for a contest too. Maybe I am nuts!
FALL BREAK
We didn’t have Fall Break when I was a kid…But I am off on Friday!!!!
We’re headed off to Kansas City this weekend for fun and adventure at Worlds of Fun. Then on to see my son Carson and his team of Norsemen play some head to head Football on Saturday. Tonight will be some fun and great Bar B Q provided by (Sutoma ?) and my good friend Wilson Grider who got the tickets for us, then on to Luther for a high-school football game.
BLOOD PRESSURE
As most of you know I’ve recently been put on blood pressure medication and I’m checking in to report my average blood pressure is now sailing in at a LOW 122 over 70. My goal is to still lose the weight through diet and exercise and eventually get off the medicine.
MISSIONS – For those of you at MUMC
We had the Thanksgiving Outreach Meeting last week. There were a few folks who showed up for the initial meeting, and we’ve decided to sponsor a couple of Mustang families with food baskets for Thanksgiving and make some sort of basket or comfort gift for the folks at Strawberry Fields in between Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you wish to help out, drop me a line at billbennett99@yahoo.com and you’re hired!
